TBM (Trichocereus Bridgesii Monstrose) [A, B, C, D, Crested, Variegated]

This bridgesii monstrose, the famous "Penis Cactus," is known mainly for its two most common forms: Clone A and Clone B. Although, the 2020s are proving to show a wider distribution of the more exotic clones. These clones come with quite a bit of naming confusion and which letter refers to which form can vary by location.

Clone A - Long Form

TBM A 2.jpg  TBM A 3.jpg

Known as TBM Long Form, this grows long pups typically with areoles forming on the first few inches giving way to smooth or lightly melty textured growth up to a terminated tip.

Clone B - Short Form

TBM B 2.jpg  TBM B 1.jpg

Known as TBM Short Form, this grows shorter, thicker pups that can create a bush-like appearance in larger specimens.

Clone C

Separate from the Crested/Cristata form there is a Clone C form from Sacred Succulents.

Clone D

Another Clone from Sacred Succulents.

Crested/Cristata

The crested version usually puts out very irregular growth with lots of bumpiness, waviness, and little terminated tips.

Reverts

Examples were found of Long Form and Crested Forms that reverted and flowered, but no specific examples of B, C, or D were found.

Trent Peruvianus

From SAB:
Trent is an Australian clone originating from the defunct Arizona Cactus Nursery, Sydney NSW. Likely from one of the collectors that sold on commission there, Trent was named by Torsten, SAB owner, and distributed from our own SAB nursery.
Trent is a gorgeous frosty blue grey cactus that grows fat with a good disease resistance. It is a typical peruvianus in many ways but an extra special one at the same time. Trent is a standout due to its large, padded areoles and golden-brown tipped spines displayed on its frosty glaucous body.
